THE ROOM / LOFT We rent this room per 31-03-2022 until 31-08-2022. The upper floor is shared with one other tenant. You can make a special request if you want your friend/colleague to stay in the same room. The living room has all the facilities you need, including a beamer(110inch screen) with Netflix subscription. In the kitchen you will find: microwave, (steam) oven, dishwasher, cappuccino machine. Of course you can use all facilities and if you have something you want to take with you, that's fine too. On the first floor you will find a special laundry room with a dryer and a washing machine. In the bathroom there is a walk-in shower and a toilet. If you smoke, you can do so in the backyard with the specially placed ashtray. There is also a shed outside where you can put your travel bags during your stay. There is also an extra bicycle there if you need it during your stay. The house has a separate toilet and a bathroom with a toilet. These are cleaned monthly, including the floors. We make your bed the first time and from then on you are responsible for your room. If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them. THE HOUSE Newly built house for fun next to the centre of 'little Amsterdam': Utrecht. The room / loft you rent comprises the entire top floor of the house which you share with another tenant. There is underfloor heating for the winter and the house itself is insulated to 2016 standards. It is a beautiful 40 m2 floor, with a large new box spring hotel bed and a nice sofa. You can lock your private space with a room key. The house itself has an area of 145m2. There is also an extra front and back garden, where you can park your car. The supermarket is 7min by bike. There you will also find a small shopping centre with all the things you need during your stay. The house is close to the highways to Amsterdam and the airport. You can also bike to the centre of Utrecht in 10min. LOCATION The house is in a relatively new and quiet neighbourhood with access to everything; 5min cycling to the shopping centre, where there are two supermarkets; 10min cycling to the city centre; finally, there are several restaurants and a big cinema within walking distance. SHARED RESPONSIBILITY We have a shared responsibility with regard to the maintenance of the house. We provide a clean room with all the furniture you need, therefore we expect you to take care of it. Once a month a cleaning service comes by to do the regular cleaning of the communal areas. We do this because we are aware that you are quite busy with other things in this beautiful country and we want to make sure that we maintain our high standard in the properties. However, you will need to take out the rubbish, do the washing up and maintain your own room. FINANCE The price includes: gas, water, electricity, internet, Netflix (if available), monthly cleaning and town hall taxes. Please note that there is a one-off hotel check-in fee of €250.
